Hello,
My battery finally gave up and isn’t holding charge anymore. I can’t seem to find anywhere recommended cca for this car. Which battery “of the shelf do people suggest for this car?.. The car only gets used every 2 or 3 days....and then only short distances in traffic... Previous and only battery from new was a motorcraft 629 12v class A Cn:45Ah Ls:220A Part number 5m5t 10655 AA ......anyone know if this battery is still in production.....and/or an equivalent..... Thankyou very much |

Genuine Ford spare parts battery 115601 (Century) still available from Ford is the replacement for the part number you provided.
The clamp part number is 7M5T 14452 AAA still available from Ford. |

I struggled for factory specs re. CCA for that model vehicle..... Could I trouble you for the link to the cca 650 specification..? I just trusted autobarns online website.....(they sell supercharge silver/gold) * Ford still supply a motorcraft......from memory it was well priced ($150)But well short of 650CCA. Memory letting me down(quoted overthe phone) |

I just got one for my car this week and the bloke at A1 Battery pro looked it up and I got what I had a DIN66MF...meaning that it is a calcium battery and mine is 750CCA, and it cost $215.00 with a 24 month g'tee but that is Townsville prices so it would be a bit cheaper in civilisation
