Default Quick question for ef.

Hey.
Today when i was driving my car shut it self off while i was driving.
Just wondering if they turn themselves of if the coolent completely dries out?, cos it did, stll turns over and runs, we have found the split hose.

yep... happened to me about a year ago... Indicators flash when you try to start it, and you will see the fuel and temp gauge go to zero.

Your lucky though, you coulda siezed it if you kept driving. So for it to turn itself off isnt a bad thing eh??

Yes they are supposed to stall.. My car did a heater hose and as soon as the temp sky rocketed it stopped..

LOL Ive never had that before, I overheated the old EA taxi once and it kept going making wierd noises untill i could put something back in it :P

mine stalls because LPG converter freezes up and supplies no fuel lol

lol well iam glad iam not alone!
The hose that is buggered is kinda below the inlet area, down there, i think it was a heater hose.
