Default Ticking Sound from Instrument Panel 2010 LV LX

Recently had AC Compressor replaced with new compressor. Since then there is a clicking sound coming from the vicinity of the instrument panel but only whilst the the air conditioner is on. The click dissappears on idle but reappears when the revs are increased. All dials/speedo operate normally. No clicking when the aircon is off.

Local Ford dealership and NRMA workshop dont know what this is.

Grateful for any advice before I have expensive investigation with dash removal

Default Re: Ticking Sound from Instrument Panel 2010 LV LX

Update. Forgot to mention that there was also a low rumbling rattling sound coming from the viciinity of the compressor wnen the AC was operating and the engine at idle RPMs.

The clicking sound was the pressure switch which is located in the engine bay behind the instrument panel.

Retuned to NRMA Autoserve to get this resolved and after some poor analysis by them and the unnessary replacememnt of non realted parts they finally discovered that the new compressor was faulty. Turns out the newly installed model had been withdrawn presumably due to faults. A new compressor has solved both problems.
