Hi Everyone
russellw is aware of the situation and is currently trying to work out why it is doing this and how to fix it. Please be patient until a fix is found. |

I've made a minor change to the navbar display - can someone experiencing the issue please test and let me know. You'll probably need to clear your cache before testing.
Cheers Russ

Just came on here to ask the same question. Only started doing it yesterday for me and only on my mobile. Desktop is fine. If I load the site then change browser settings to 'load desktop site' then it fixes it, but I don't know how to make that a permanent thing. If I navigate away or close the site, it defaults back to mobile site.

I also notice some posts appear as normal, so this one from Russ that I've quoted is full width. All the others are narrow.

Hi Russell,
If you use chrome or firefox as a search engine for AFF and click onto the legit result you end up with ad for a dent puller from a company in Canada in which you can close. They could be legit but may of been compromised as they have been reported for abuse by abuseipdb.com Funny thing is if you search with IE or epic browser no ad appears and you can log in as usual. Bloody internet scum bags never stop trying to stitch up their fellow humans

The mystery is why the element is ignoring the rules all of a sudden but as the legacy style seems to fix it, I can compare the differences between the styles and find the actual piece of code causing the issue that way.

I've been experiencing this issue for a little bit now as have others. I found that using the dark theme and legacy themes fix the issue. But both "default" versions seems to send the widths of everything mental.
FYI, using Chrome for Android in desktop version.

I've done an extensive comparison of the 'default' theme against the legacy one and while there are minor code differences, there isn't anything in their stylesheets that suggests what we are seeing.
I'll keep digging but in the meantime I'm probably going to start copying the missing code sections (bit by bit) from the default scheme to the legacy one to see what might be the cause. If those using the legacy theme could keep me updated it would be great.

Appreciate the efforts to date; the reason I raised it to begin with, is wanting your “brand” to look its best.

Things are basically back to normal for me. The post widths are not quite as consistent as the dark version. But basically the same as before the recent change.
Thanks Russ and team

Default style is all good again for me, thanks Russ. Never noticed anything changing on legacy style either.
