Default Laser kn miss firing

Hi all, I have a 2000 model kn laser. It started chugging and miss firing today. Only when at low revs, on the freeway it's fine. Its a manual so I can drop the clutch and give it some big revs when setting off. If I don't it feels like it's running on 2or 3 cylinders.
Any ideas? I'm thinking ignition coil and/or leads

Common fault is coils on those cars. Id also do plugs and leads.

Did changing coils fix it? if so, which brand of coil? I've the same issue withmy KN , changed plugs which sorted some of the problem...i have fuelmiser coils in it but this brand is not favoured...

Coils will more than likely fix it. Had the same problem with my the daughter's Laser. Park it somewhere dark, pop the bonnet and start it up then watch the light show.

I replaced the coils about 12 months ago with fuelmiser and have had no issues.
