Default VHT vinyl paint/dye.

Anyone had any luck with VHT vinyl paint?

Pics?

I want to go black over the whole interior, at the moment im loving the black leather steering wheel but the grey centre pad looks ghey and out of place...

I had an old KA laser that had a black interior, was fully sick.

Anyway cheers guys

It doesnt die no matter what they seem to say. I put it on my vinyl in my au and you can just scratch it off easy. I got a black interior for my car as paiting it just wont work and looks crap. Better to get the real stuff

It should work okay as long as you prep the surface really well - plenty of wax and grease remover over and over should do it.

Had great results using black vinyl paint.
It wasn't the vht. motor something.
Will still probably be some old pics in my gallery, look for interior pics of an EA.
It was tan brown & i turned it black.
With some effort put into painting it & following the directions to a tee i had no problems with it scratching or peeling after it had set. You could scratch & dig at it with your nail & it was fine.
I did scratch a bit of the dash when re-assembling everything (shortly after it was fully dried) but after a few weeks it sets well. Colour wasn't as BLACK/shiny after a while so I was wrapped with the results.
