Can someone advise me if the 2010 LV diesel models are being looked at for the transmission issue? I can find lots on the petrol models but nothing for diesel. Our 2010 jolts and jerks as if it cant decide what gear to be in, at first I thought it was a fuel issue, but out of gear there is no missing or issue with the engine, but put it into D and it sort of kangaroo hops.
thanks in advance. fm |

You should contact a Ford dealer or Ford directly. If your transmission is a Powershift, then Ford are obligated to assist you with its repair.

2010 LV Focus will have either 4F27E 4 speed auto, CFT23 auto trans, or a 6 speed MPS6 wet clutch Powershift pending on model variant. The concerns that everyone refers to in Powershift is in relation to the dry clutch DPS6 Powershift.
Sound like you may have an output shaft speed sensor issue going by face value or educated guess.. |
