I'm after some insurance for my new ride. But it seems that wherever i go no-one wants to insure me cause i'm under 25 and the car is a v8.

shannons should do it if you dont have that many tickets,

they actually do ensure enthusiasts like they say in the ads, when you ring up tell them you go to car shows and are a member of the E-series owners club and see how you go.

im with just cars atm, because i have had a couple too many traffic infringements for shannons :S but at the end of the year there will have been enough time elapsed and i will be able to change to shannons

ive had my V8 NC insured with RACV since 02.... i was 22 when i got it.... its been relatively cheep insurance too....was 1020 or something teh first year.......just about halved the seccond year and 550 odd last year......

perhaps you're being rejected due to the fact that its an XR8, not just cos its a V8......

i get raped in the bum by nrma for insurance simply because of the xr6 and i am 21.

i pay way more than my 2 of my mates, same age, who have brand new rodeos which are worth 3 times more than mine, and one of them only just got his p-plates :, and when i have had a licence for 4 years now :

i need to find a new insurer soon to
