Mid 80's my partner and I ended up in some great venues over the years not realizing the type of patrons who frequented them. Remember seeing a real great ZZ top cover band at the old bikie pub, the Vauxhall Inn, Granville.

Dancing at Parramatta's, Parkroyal Hotel disco with the poncers and the Greg Gunstan band at the Town Hall pub in Rozelle. Gay and lesbian haunt but we were having such a great time dancing with others, being straight we probably wouldn't be allowed in now.

I can beat that.

I was there when the Marble Bar closed in Sydney in 1969.

Free beer went on at 9:50pm and off at 10:00pm

Did you ever go the Harold Park hotel or the Petersham inn? Good band venues. Used to get into it at the Vulcan Hotel in Ultimo for lunch at tech, fun days
