Hey guys...I have installed EL thermo fans into my ED over the weekend. Everything is sweet, but this last thing. I have searched the forums, and have looked in a manual and can't find an answer.
Where do you source a 12volt trigger for the A/C Compressor Clutch? I have all the wiring in place for the 3rd relay, but have been unable to figure this last thing out. Any help would be appreciated. P.S...i have read the tech document on installing thermos as well..that helped me greatly. |

there is a blue wire that plugs into the engine bay loom from the a/c compressor. it is the only wire coming from the compressor so you cant miss it. i tapped mine from that.

hey john. Thanks for your reply. I tried that, and it didn't work. Maybe i didn't plug the connector into it properly. I will give it another shot when i'm not tired. Thanks mate

there may be a mistake youve made with your wiring. it should work from there. or you have got a dodgy relay...

I'll have a look when i get home from uni today. The relay and wiring is all correct. I checked this by running the wire straight to the battery and the fan works accordingly. Maybe i just didn't connect it properly. I'll let u know how it goes this afternoon.

Thanks mate. It certainly was that wire. The connector I had was not making contact. Works now.
