this brings back memories of an awesome period in australian motor sport. when manufactures raced the cars they built. if memory serves me, dick crashed coming onto conrod straight.

Was it Dicky boy who collected the Roo that time down conrod, that was the best ! may of been a Holden ? but the Roo sure got spun out.

Yep the exit of forrest elbow where he clipped the very last edge of the concrete barrier but that was after the rock incident.

He hit the rock in blue XD in Reid Park (between the Cutting and Sulman Park, just before "under the tree").
Greens Tuff XE he speared into the trees exiting Forrest's elbow. Spinning down Conrod I thought it was one of the Bathurst sprint races in 90s and his Shell Falcon rear wing broke on Conrod sending him into a spin and bouncing off walls? Did he do something similar in Sierra? |
