Hi all. 06 LS Focus.
Wife drove car, parked up and out then refused to start. Cranks fine but no fuel. Checked via OBD scanner, no codes. Disconnected fuel line at manifold, no fuel on cranking but still no codes. Have checked fuses/relays/power to harness under seat. It powers up briefly on ignition then goes back to zero volts. Left sit for a few weeks and it then fired up. Would idle but then died on pushing accelerator. Tried again with AC on for high idle, it ran fine. Went for a drive, came home and parked again. Thought I’d try again and yet again. No start. Any ideas before I burn it ? Thanks |

I agree with GTLEGEND - I've heard before that if these cars are run a lot with a near empty fuel tank that the fuel pump can have issues down the track.
Might also just be worth considering idle sensors etc that fuel delivery rely on, even if they should throw a code. |
