Thumbs down ba xr6 ute.....help!

G,day Dags here . I bought a new xr6 ute in dec 05. It has a couple of issues i hope someone can help me with.

1. Driveline `booming` noise from 95ks upwards. Diff replaced . Made no difference at all! Ford dealer now saying its a `characteristic` of the 17``tyres. Is this true?... I feel like they are spinning me a line. They said they put some standard tyres on and the noise was gone.

2. Auto has a`groaning` type noise when cold while shifting from 3rd to 4th @65ks , light throttle. Seems to be a slight vibe thru seat when it does this also.

Ute has now only done 4000ks.

Apart from this love ute...Vixen in colour, leather int.

I also want to join the xr club asap!

Cheers...Dags.

Default Noise in drive train

Sound`s like drive train vibration, Ford need to take tail shaft off and get it balanced then when put back on it needs to be balanced again on car.
This is the only way to do it properly.
