Ok, when I brake at anything over 90ish k's I get extremely bad vibrations (faster I go the worse it vibrates) So I'm going to replace the rotors and pads at once (not much left on the old pads now..).
I do a bit of hill driving and quite a bit of driving up and down the expressway most days. I'd like to know what combo would be the go for wear/stopping/**** factor. Has been suggested standard rotors and greenstuff pads, also been suggested some slotted (DBA?) rotors and bendix advance/ultimate/heavyduty/other... I'm leaning towards some slotted rotors up front, now.. which pad should I go for? Car is a big fat heavy NC 5ltr. |

I use DBA rotors and Bendix pads. Wouldn't recommend them.

I use DBA slotted rotors on the front with Bendix CT pads. It pulls up okay. Previously I used Bendix Ultimate pads but they had way too much dust, pulled up pretty good though. Next time I will give the EBC Greenstuff a try, supposedly a very good bite without the dust problem.

i use dba slotted/ebc greenstuff up front and rda solid/bendix advance out back. its an ok combo. slotted all round and greenstuffs would be better. but i recommend all of EBC's gear. they do a rotor and a pad to match your braking style be it street/track/offroad. this sounds like a huge marketing job but i do like their stuff.

Ive got RDA slotted rotors & have used Bedix & cheap pads but the rotors have warped twice! Not pleased!

I have DBA slotted and Ferrodo pads all round.
The brakes are sh|t , (spesh after jumping out of an AU), but i suppose it brakes better then standard Eseries brakes. Peddle feel , well there isnt much, but the do grab well IF you stand hard on them.

E series brakes are too small.
Give them a hard time and they will always fade. I have cross drilled and slotted rotors James, with Bendix Ultimates. Its got a good pedal feel and is good for a few hard stops. Lots of dust though.
