Hard to find these days, be on the look out for part number BA7K327A1.
Try Fairford Spares in Padstow, Mr Ford in Greenacre, Fordpro in Smithfield. |

BA XR8 is not a T5 box, he needs one for a Tremec TR3650.

The TR3650 has two original types. Ones that came in the Barra 220, which is the non weighted (similar one to the $250 link below) and ones that came in the XR8s and GTs, which is weighted (silver with the leather stitching).
If the thread and pitch on the T5 is the same as the TR3650, then it'll fit. A mate of mine recently bought a BF2 manual XR6 ute, which I think uses the T5? The previous owner fitted a XR weighted gear knob, so I'm guessing they are the same and will be cross compatible, but please confirm for yourself.

For some visual reference -
This version was used as standard on BA XR and BA FPV's. It was then used on all N/A XR6's for BA MK II and BF. For BF MK II, only XR6 ute has this gear knob as the sedan went to the 6 speed box. Optional all BA - BF MK II Falcon's and FPV's was the Momo gear knob, from memory with either a grey, red or blue insert (blue in the pic below). All manual XT sedans, XL ute, XLS ute and RTV ute had the rubber gear knob similar to the one linked above.
