Buying them is one thing, being gifted them is another - but main thing is you are on the way to earning the right to wear the NB on your side of your feet...soon-to-be-dad.

This is me although my used pair are two slightly different colours because the right one is a season older (blew the newer right one out)

Ripples.
New pair every year for years.
Man they felt good on new.
Do they even make these things anymore?

We referred to Ripples as 50-50s, as that was the odds they gave ants.

Haven't seen ripples since the 80s (or desert boots for that matter - tried finding desert boots in the 90s to go with my safari suit for 70s fancy dress party).

My dad was a kt26 man, then a new balance man. My grandpa is still a nb man. My dads a bit too dead these days, but my grandpa has the nb's as walking shoes. So 95 and still kicking. My dad also liked tracksuits, so puma tops and bottoms stuff. My grandpa, hes a bit more old school and proper. So trousers, shirt, knitted jumper yet the new balance shoes.

Good to know they are still made in Oz.

Must check the work ones out and stock up. I bought up a remaining supply of Australian made Oliver boots should last me the next three years. (I hope)

Great you can still get these.
They werent 200 dollars shoes when I was wearing them though.
Still, tempting, they were comfortable.

Love the Romes, can't believe they haven't had a revival.
Saw a guy at a BBQ about 5 years ago wearing a brand new pair, he got them in Europe on holidays.
