Default LS manual mirrors

Hi all, 2006 Focus LS 5 door CL hatch. It has "manual" external mirrors which are a PITA to use, and they are broken inside somewhere.

Question : how difficult would it be to change the mirrors to electric ones ?

I haven't taken the old ones off yet, but I am assuming the wiring would be tucked away in the door some where.

Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated ..................

Cheers

you will also need a dedicated switch. But I would ensure the wiring harness has the connections before buying them

Yeah, forgot about the switch ! From research, it looks like the switch is part of the drivers arm rest

Might need to go to a wreckers and do some investigating ......................
