Sales are Sales... Sure, profit on Fleet (per vehicle) is probably less than a Private buyer, but when your selling 5/10/20/50 at a time that's not a huge deal. And keeps the company's Turnover up, not just the profit. Its why I never got why people are so hard on Toyota for being the "Fleet Leader". Is that really such a bad thing?

Main thing Ford wont get (from the Police at least) is that im pretty sure they service there own vehicles (they do in Qld at least)

They were using dealerships here in VIC when I was involved in building their vehicles, wasn't uncommon to see police cars at the Ford dealership near work.

A Wheel post that caught my attention this morning...............

Look at how close the YTD figures are between Commodore and Falcon, probably the closest they had been in the years before, and since.

Did not know that, Holden/GM playing the system as they had always done.

Yep, fleet sales can be depended on no matter what the economic conditions are like.

Private sales can yo-yo when the economy isn't doing well. Fleet sales can do a bit of that too, but not to the same degree.
