Default Penrite HPSO - Ever a Bad Idea?

Obviously, not good on Weet-Bix or a salad, but speaking vane type power steering pumps and ZF type integrated power racks…

Are there applications where it’s possibly not a smarter choice than older spec fluids?

Probably work well in Cannondale Super Fatty air/oil shocks.
