I remember reaching some douche bag post (elsewhere) saying that Ford were copying BMW with the DRL headlights on the latest Escape. Lol. Ford did it on the FG-X XR's waaay back in 2014.

Nope, I don't really see it.
Looks more like BMW evolving their styling over the models. You can see the resemblance between G30 and G60.

Don't see it too much as the BMW has more interrupted, confused lines.
