The Mode, Seek and volume buttons on steering wheel are not working on my 2006 BF Ford Falcon. I have changed out the buttons no change. Then it was suggested that the clock spring was broken got a used one from the wreckers and installed it. Still not working. Appreciate any help in fixing this problem.

Hi. Has the car ever had an aftermarkt radio fitted to it? Quite often you will find that the red/white wire under the steering column gets cut so it can be used to work with a different stereo. Have a look in the white six pin plug at the base of the steering column shroud. If the wire is OK you can use it as a test point with a multimeter to see if the resistance to earth changes when you push the buttons. Cheers MD
