These canopys look the goods.
Source: https://www.bertrandmunier.co.uk/can...r-drink-party/ More seriously, I don’t think “quality canopy” is often said. Aluminium doesn’t rust so either you have ferrous fasteners corroding from the environment (or washing in bore water) or the frames aren’t aluminium. The side light frames might be better on a Flexiglas unit but how do they seal? People seem to gripe about the canopy as a whole, leaking. |

That’s pretty heavy oxidisation of aluminium. Are Carryboy not being helpful with spare parts?
If the canopy is on, and watertight, I think maybe better to work with it than replace the whole thing. |

Carryboy will onto offer any solutions apart from buying new frames.
it is on, fitting well, leaks in one corner that will be addressed when this job is fixed and canopy repainted. how do I work with it? suggestions... hand rub every frame and rust treat or other ideas.

Google up aluminum corrosion and how to treat it, also when repainting the repair work make sure paint is suitable for aluminum with anticorrosion properties.
I would dare say, you live in area close to salt water. |
