Hino pantech, head has had a quick service but not touched the sealing sleeves (I was off sick while it all was underway.)
Does the first one look like it’s been blowing or is it just cooked oil that’s got past the top O-ring in its bore? Sleeves look like a not-fun job per YT, the tool set is able to be hired but still not a job you’d do unless imperative. Any opinions on the other three? |

S05C, not sure of exact year but around 2009.
Injector cups look a fair hassle to do, especially with the head on. |

Sorry I'd left Hino by then but,
I've just had a gander in one of my tech books and they have a cooper sleeve that seals on the bottom of the injector body and the top of the injector port in the cylinder head and requires SST to remove and instal. I would just clean up the injectors making sure you clean the seat on the bottom of the injector and try and carefully clean out any carbon build up on the bottom of the injector seat tube. Sorry can't help much more but everyone I worked or dealt with there have retired or told them pskogf. Terry |

That’s fairly much where I’ve gone with it, the injector with heavy surface damage cleaned up to show an intact sealing area, not any spare surface beyond it though (all eroded).
Used a ball-ended brass rotary brush on flex shaft to clean the seats and check for obvious issues. All four sleeves had lost fair quantities of their internal plating. We're going to see if it stands up under real world usage. |
