If the oil has been changed regularly, they’re a great buy. Sturdy, safe body shells and pretty reliable wiring without mad complications. Interior door handle is probably the big weakness, and that’s easily solved.

I saw one today with 286,000 Klms on Giulietta Enthusiasts FB

I got my 208 GTi from Townsville yesterday
It is a HOOT

Feels like a 200+ HP Go Kart

Common issue with the TFI module on the distributor shitting the bed on those things, dizzy is probably cooked - easy fix.

Oddly enough the TFI module always gets the blame, but 75% of the time it's the hall effect sensor.

Having said that, it's easier & often cheaper to just put a whole new distributor in, that covers all bases.
