Not sure what to title it lol.
I was having a read about the old 534 big blocks ( MT's video on the V8 got me thinking blah blah blah) long story short I found a article that mentioned the 534 Super Seamaster being used in luxury boats. Am I wrong to think they were also used in ' cigar' boats with 1200hp.

Yeah, went for a ride in one once, twin marinized big blocks, (I think 2x532s) on Lake Superior. That was 20 years ago.
Recommended engine life between rebuilds was 500 hours. Tank held about 300 gallons of fuel (about 1100 litres.) that was at $2.20 US/gal They run proper container ships on the lake which was a surprise Google Poker runs NY/Florida/Miami - they run helicopters as support vehicles, and semi's to truck em around. There was a guy down south runs a strip club usually has some pretty impressive machinery on display, There was another fella that repowered a cat with twin turbines (i think quite popular now) and a lot them now run 4 or 5x 450hp outboards on the transom, looks flash as. |
