Default Repco stuff

well i was just wondering if anyone has had a problem with things they bought from repco? it's just that i'm getting a new oil pump tomorrow from repco and i'm hoping it'll go alright. it comes up as a high flow pump but there is no 'standard flow pump'.

I always buy my things from repco...doesnt necessarily mean they sell sh#tty parts...they have good products and bad products and if u dont wanna waste much money u will only end up getting the crappy parts....the best engine mounts are the rubber ones...they sell those...

I used to work at Repco's Aust-wide distribution centre. You'll find most parts aren't made by repco, they just sell the parts, sometimes under their own name, sometimes under the original name. Find out what brand it is and ring around, there's a pretty good chance someone will be able to beat their price.

Depends if you're in a country REPCO. If ya're, then walk in wit greasy 'ands ay, and start droppin the g's so ya sound like a tradey ay. Then you'll get good service. Otherwise, repco are useless as tits on a bull. Like Aaron said, ring around and most blokes will beat repco's price, tradey or not.

I would say your looking a a JP Performance oil pump thats a Hi volume version? If so it's a good thing. Alot of the dirt track stock cars over here in NZ run this pump and I've never heard of one failing.

Isn't it the high PRESSURE pumps are no good? not the hiflow ones?

I'm pretty sure JMM use hiflow pumps when they rebuild motors.
