I've got a few traction issues. At first i was shattered but the more i thought about it, now i'm stoked with my time. Got a few things that i wouldn't mind doing but it's all time and money
Luke work on the 60 foot you will do a mid 14 in no time.
1st time in your car at the track good effort.

Nice Alex, plenty of smiles at Calder last nite, good work..

Making more power, 106mph and a 12 sec pass is on its way.
Maybe you could lend a set of light weights for a nights racing.

Solid effort by all last night, we best make most of these conditions while we can, June should see plenty more quick ET's..

Mark, the best thing about last night was blowing away a VL TURBO which ran a 10 sec pass but took 8.483 seconds to get off the line what a joke. These cars take spooling to the next level of stupidity.

He has a easy 13.1 / 13.2 in that F6 all he needs is a 2.0# 60 foot...

why not start spooling up the turbo on the first yellow light and just creep forward when your right to go? i usually try and be the first on the yellow so ive got a bit more time to stall up the engine

BF F6 with the ZF 6 SPEED don't spool up, you cant leave the line on boost, and there is no auto edit software yet for this auto.
The guy we are taking about he only had his 1st drive of this F6 on Friday Morning and did his 1st ever quarter mile pass on Friday night, with a burrowed helmet so a 13.3 for a bog stock F6 with traction control on, he has much to look forward to..

So are you saying that the "spool up in 2nd, launch in first" technique doesn't work or does it only work in one car?

Stalling a car and spooling a car is 2 diferent things.
Spooling long enough allows you to leave the line on boost gives you a killer 60 foot.
Havn't seen a BF do this...
Stalling allows you to take your converter to 2000 / 2300 rpm allows for a 2.0 , 60 foot...you stall to long your run will be a trash run.
Stalling in 2nd may have somthing to do with torque, once you stall to much in 2nd, I have been told they back to 1st on there own on a modded car any how.

Agree with that, the BF F6 does appear to be very lazy off the line... Even Maurice's which looks like my grandma is driving it to sixty foot, even though it is actually quicker to that marker. It makes me wonder because i did some testing in an XR6 BF 6 speed and it actually bogged with the stall in 2nd technique, but shot off like a rocket stalling in 1st. Yet doing the same thing with an F6 yields a different result, obviously FPV have their finger on the pulse with performance potential on that transmission.

I'd like to see side by side runs of an F6 v XR6T and GT v XR8 and see the different characteristics and sectionals
