I got a speeding fine recently and think i might be able to get out of it.
the cop wrote my number plate down worng. for one of the numbers he wrote an "L" instead of "4". that is the only mistake. whaddya reckon? can i get off it? |

i got off a parking ticket for that once, an M instead of an N
only parking ticket i ever had either :LOL |

Yes, there not the numbers/letters for your vehicle,may require stat dec but you say not me and wave it goodbye.

Is your name and drivers licence number on the ticket, If so you are NAILED. However if there is no name or drivers licence number on the ticket you should be able to throw it out . But check with some legal advice first.

if he got out of his car and actually wrote you out a ticket (took your license and went and checked the details in the squad car or whatever) and personally handed you the ticket with your name and other details on it then you have no chance in getting out of it at all.
according to the ticket it was YOU driving and speeding. the car itself isnt really important. in the eyes of the law = your car or not = YOU WERE CAUGHT SPEEDING. pay the fine and dont waste your time. Last edited by Kryton; 24-02-2005 at 09:45 PM. |
