Good stuff.

I remember when I got my P's. I don't think I even spent any time at home once I got my licence. We all had a rite of passage with our friends that one by one we'd all drive somewhere and the last person to (attempt) to get in the car would be left behind at whatever random place we went to and they had to find their own way home lol. Ahhh, stupid car games.....

Don't worry about tyres you'll just have to live with it. I've ended up going through my rears in bout 6 months, but a rear wheel drive, manual ute has nothing to do with that, right?...

While ya young burn as much rubber as you can before 'major bills' kick in and 'old timers worrying' kicks in later in life ;) - i remember in my old XE (on P's) i was going through a set of tyres each 3 months or so , was expensive , but fun ;) . Im not lecturing here - but - Just keep the fun stuff away from local traffic for safety reasons ;), then all is fine , and fun .
I did some silly stuff in my days - drove for a year without a licence, never got pulled over , first day i had p's and displayed them i got pulled over just for a checkup ! , had 2 beers before i went for my licence to calm me down, and i passed first go with flying colors ..I'm not saying do this stuf , i was just young and lucky i goty away with what i did . No way would i temp fate these days , I've pushed my luck as far as it will go i think . ;) .
