Its actually illegal to hire your car out for money unless it is registered as a hire car. For those who want cash, it would have to be under the table and if you got pulled over obviously no cash has changed hands.
If anyone ever wanted my car in a wedding I would be honoured to do it. If it was local no problems, but anywhere else just cover the petrol costs.

Well if i had a car you wanted to use for the wedding i would lend it to you.

Its always good to show a bit of good faith. Then later on down the track you hope if you ever in need someone else might show you some good faith. Also weddins good way of meeting people.

You can accept reimbursement for petrol, etc, and be paid in cash. Same as if I used my car to help my employer out (govt...).

Different rules for different Territories and States.

cheers guys...I get what you're saying. Am probably going to solve this problem sooner than I thought. My fiance and I have been talking about getting a new car. SO he said to me last night let's just go buy our own to use...was pretty stoked with that.

Have also sorted out the other guy...and he was pretty cool to do it for some pics and grog. Basically as my mum put it, if the RTA inspect...the driver is a friend of the family ;)
