Anyone here seen Bush Mechanics? It was about a bunch of aboriginals who fixed their cars with whatever they could find (sticks and bits of rubbish they just found in the outback). That show is great I love it. They are so funny.

Another vote for Micallif, and any of the things he's been in; Full Frontal, Shaun Micallif show, Thank God Your Here etc.

Another original Fat Pizza Fan. Series 1 and 2 were great. Its always something special stopping at the Fat Pizza shop in Chullora with visitors interstate and having a slice there.

Agreed. Very silly, almost slapstick style - but hilarious when done well. Many have attempted this style of humour recently but it's an art that has been lost in the myriad of scripted situational comedy.

Bob added a lot to that show as well and ive enjoyed watching him on Thank God You're Here.

Comedy channel plays a lot of the shows mentioned here. Makes my day when i catch an epsiode.

Bush mechanics is great. The first episode was the best when the roof collapsed, so they chopped it off and towed it behind as a trailer. Must see viewing for all e-series drivers! LOL.

Channel 31 is a classic. Whenever I am flicking through channels and end up at Channel 31, I have to laugh at how unprofessional all the presenters are.

Hey Guys,

No problems with constructive criticism, but jeez give it a chance.

Comedy has got to be the hardest genre of them all, especially on the box.

I thought it came across well and there are certainly some characters that will develop.

We must remember the canning Fast Forward got on its debut, it took some time to establish, and not all on it were household names.

The cast is all mainly new talent so I say give em a go.

The company that does this show does "Blokes World" as well so I'm sure they know where it's headed.

Cheers

Darren

They even have a website http://www.bushmechanics.com/home.htm

Best ones i remember were when they ran out of brake fluid, mixed up a batch of omo and water, did the trick. Then the fuel pump was on the blink in the old VB, so they rigged up the fuel to be pumped through via the washer squirter, also stuffing the flat tyre full of spinifex to get home.

But the best one was when the band were travelling to a gig, they didnt have enough room for the drum kit, so they cut the roof off the car tipped it upside down and towed it behind them!
