i'm in Bayswater North (east melb) i'm looking at getting a full service done real soon, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to where to get it done? cheers

Yeah do what you can yourself and get someone competent to do the things you're not comfortable with.
I haven't tried them yet myself but a mate went to London Automotive in Bayswater and got good service at a reasonable price. |

In your driveway...that way you know what is done, what needs to be done and it will cost a fraction of the price.
Just get a gregory's manual...that will tell you everything you need to know.

Wardy if your up for it in the coming week im kean to learn how to service a car, so buy one of these gregory manuals and we can give it a shot!

I agree you should DIY. You would be surprised how easy it is! I guess when you say FULL service you should do...
Oil Oil Filter Airfilter (or clean it if you have K&N) Fuel Filter Spark Plugs Leads (May as well do the dizzy cap and rotor button if they havn't been done) Maybe diff oil too, i guess it depends how far you wanna go. I can't think of a mechanic i would really reccomend but on the rare occasion when I needed to take a car somewhere I have been pretty happy with 'David Vaughn Autos' 9 Rose Avenue, Croydon 9725 6450. |
