Hey guys,
Planning at some point of putting dual exhaust onto the fez. Anyone have any pics, I've searched the forum but can't find any. And can anyone recommend a place to have it done? |

Wouldnt that suffer from some sort of power loss due to the extra pipe? It does looks friggin sweet though

you can have the bumper cut in order to fit in the pipe instead of putting the rear skirt..I think Liverpool muffler or Tony muffler can do that for you

Why not just a single outlet on each side?

Wow that other thread was a masive b.icthfest hey? lol. I would suggest doing it, cos it looks damn good. Thats if your not concerned with power. I was going to get that done to my focus, but the power loss was a bit of a concern to me.
ANyhoo DO IT, and post photos. |

most 4 & 6 cyl cars that have dual exhaust do have 1 tail pipe longer than the other, especially if the main section if the exhaust runs down 1 side of the car (rwd cars) and branches out from the rear axle, therefore the extra length of the pipe on 1 side is longer , i have owned an old bmw, 1982 e21 323i, ,and this was exactly the case, the pipe exiting on the passenger side was atleast 2m longer than the 1 exiting from the drivers side, and this was factory thats just 1 eg....there are many cares like it, As far as the single inlet, dual outlet muffler, they do work, cars like the mr2 and camaro use these. This done properly will have no illefects on the car, definately will not lose power due to the added flow of the muffler.. like any rear muffler replacement, may even increase it slightly
