Exclamation EB GT parts for sale

before this is moved to the for sale section, these aren't my parts, i saw them in the adelaide trading post and thought they'd of more interest to us (E-Series members) than anyone else.

Falcon EB GT wheels and tyres, 17x8.5in, good condition, $2000 negotiable.
Falcon EB GT Momo steering wheel with cruise control, $350 or near offer.
ph. 08 8254 3340 Adelaide.

Again, these are not my parts, saw them in yesterdays trader, and the above is a direct quote of what was advertised.

Damn i wish i had some spare cash lol

Apparently there is a messed-up EB GT in the Parts Peddler magazine, no doubt that is where the bits are coming from. The wheels might have been sold already too.

I saw this EB GT in PP, didn't look like it had been smashed or anything though. Can't believe it's being wrecked.

Did the guy give you a reason why he's getting rid of them, hopefully they're not "permanently borrowed" out:

$350 is cheap for the momo - they seem to go for $500 + with cruise....

Yeah, that's right, they sell for heaps on ebay. And they don't come up too often, either. If someone had some spare cash, you could make a profit out of that wheel.
Me, I'm hanging out for an ED Ghia leather wheel.

I'm talking to a guy in adelaide about EB GT wheels at the moment, they are geniune, I wonder if it's the same guy? Are geniune wheels 17x8, 17x8.5 or 17x9??

It's funny, because I'm almost a 100% sure that original EB GT wheels are 17"x9".

Prepare then for the other 1% to bite because 8.5" is the right width.

$2000 is pretty good for a set of EBGT's.
I know of a set of 5 that went for $1750, with tyres.

What, a proper wrecker? That sounds a bit shady to me... do they break bits of their cars to get at the good parts?
Cheers for the heads up, though, I'll give them a call next week.

after calling the ppl with those bits, i went to a local wrecker to pick up a spoiler for the EB (which was the wrong one anyway), and sitting in their yard was a newly arrived EB Gt with severe roof damage...... and they are selling the rims for $2000..... so that would be the other se for sale in adelaide.
i have to go back on monday to get a price for the bodykit.
