I know its very easy to do, and apparently cheap.
Im wanting to know, how much further does the XR Front bar hang lower than a standard 99 AU1 Forte front bar. Im considering putting one on, but will it just look stupid without the rest of the kit, because maybe the front bar hangs lower than the sides of the car. I know a guy with a XR6 Ute mock up. Theres no kits on the side. Basically just the front bar. And it looks quite neat. Would this be modified to suit the Ute or is there a lip kit around the front you can remove.. Any ideas, thanks.

So it wont look odd at the front..
Iv seen alot of commodores that have just a Clubsport Front bar on them.. without the rest of the kit.. and the front bar usually hangs significantly lower that the side. I was just wondering if its like that with the XR bars.

depends. the s1 front isn't as 'bulky' and sits higher than the S2/ 3 with the extra pods on the bottom..
I have a S2 one with the pods and it looks out of place without the side skirts
