I had an urgent job to attend to in Sydney on Monday, so took off from Melb Sunday morning. With plenty of time up my sleeve and XRT looking a little grotty, thought I'd give it a bit of a bath in Albury. This I did as well as Chamoising +windows etc.
No sooner am I back in my comfort zone just the other side of Holbrook when I'm bombarded by them .. Squillions of them, splattering like tracer bullets all over my freshly polished baby. Then a repeat performance around the same area on the way back Monday arvo. Also noticed heaps of XRs, GT's, and 3 or 4 Pursuits heading north on Mon arvo just out of Albury & about to be pelted (obviously coming home from FPV)... You poor guys after all the elbow grease that woulda been put into your cars for the day! My question is.. Are these hungry critters growing in numbers and do they look like eventually crossing the border? It must be an ongoing problem, as you see local cars with netting covering their grills. |

Ha! Be glad you dont have to drive through the bastards twice every day like i do!
Little buggers laid their eggs last time before we could kill them all, so now the next generation is taking their revenge. Id say they'll do what the last lot did and go wherever the food takes them.
