anyone seen the movie yet?
im not going to spoil it for those who havent seen it, but i found it amusing that he catches the daily planet globe from crushing an ED falcon and then puts it down on a volvo surely they couldve found a better car for a major scene |

I havent seen it, but I know it was filmed in Australia. So the ED might have been a logical choice.
Actually its depressing to see these movies- I remember the EF destroyed in Mission Impossible 2.

I walked past the filming of this last year, was in York St Sydney outside Wynyard station.
For the close up shots they had the yellow Crown Vics but most of the other taxis are EA-ED falcons with a piece of sheet chrome for a fake grille. There was also a green/grey VN commodore with metropolis plates on the filming set! EDIT: I may have a photo from my old camera phone on my other computer. will check tomorrow |

It was actually an EA S Pac that Superman saved
Oh...and if anyone remember's the bank robbery scene, that was Filmed in Newcastle, 5 minutes walk from where i was working at the time...pretty mad to see them bringing in all those Amercian Crown Vics wrapped in plastic..and then blowing one up They used University House for the scene, right next door to the town hall |

hehe Yes, a lot of the filming for street scenes were done in and arround sydney, fox studios etc... The Kent Farm was filmed in Tamworth...the grew a whole corn crop just for it. And did anyone spot Ian Roberts the ex-NRL Player? he played one of Kevin Spacey's henchmen |
