That looks great. The main reason i'm building this is to learn how to put it together as i'm new to this and want to know everything about it.

Where my missus works they are the distributor for a brand called TRAXXAS. They have a nitro off road truck that will do 70mph+. I want the missus to place an order but she thinks i should just play with my drift one for a while as the Traxxas retails for more than $1000. Which is probably a little better priced than the $5000 dollar rocket i seen the other day with hydaulic 4 wheel disc brakes.

the Traxxas one you refer to is the JATO. technically it is classed as a Stadium Truck and is only rear wheel drive. this essentially means that for the power it has it is near to useless on grass or dirt. they are also very brittle and isnt built for anything other than racing. jump it and it will break.
if you are looking to buy a Monster Truck or buggy then try have a look at some RC forums so you dont end up with something that wont do what you want it to. |

I've always wanted an Nitro RC monster truck. The only reason I haven't bought one? They didn't go fast enough compared to how ridiculously fast the other 2 I had were.

I need to focus on tuning... For some reason the car will not sit still and idle, it always idles for a bit, then automatically rev's its ring out, and takes off!!!
AusRC have some top tutorial threads over there I need to have a look at I reckon!!!!
