Default Thinking of selling the EL

Been having a swimming pool installed over the last couple of days, and one of the workers asked me if I would be interested in selling my EL. After thinking it over, I thought why not. However, I have no idea what sort of money to ask. Below is a description of the car. Let me know what a reasonable figure would be, keeping in mind that cars are usually about a grand and a half more up here in cairns than down south.

late 97 EL GLI, white
130000 kms
Fairmont cluster, trip computer
Full fairmont interior with wood grain also
Lowered pedders suspension
Extractors and full red back exhaust
wade cam
Tickford manual ecu
T5
Custom stereo door pods
alpine amp, splits and 2 12inch mtx subs (probably no HU cause i want to keep it)
Polished rocker cover, new overflow tank
EL GT snorkle
Full el tickford kit minus wing
17 inch ajr copies
EL GT gear boot
XR leather wheel

Spares with the car:
3:45 lsd center and gears
EF head, rockergear, cam and cover
Original cluster
2 spare original rims with good tyres

Overall, the car is in excellent condition, with only mabey 3 small "trolley" marks. I was thinking about somewhere round 9 grand.....

By the way, before you ask, pics will be up hopefully later today.

9k sounds pretty fair but you're probably better off selling your spares seperately.

Thought about it, but atm, I have too much ****e lying around the place, and too much other stuff to do to be bothered about selling it. Also, the next car I get, I probably wont be able to use the stuff in. thinking about getting a single cab hilux or similar, depending on price, and what will fit two 12 inch subs!

The other thing with selling, is that the stuff people want is a pain to freight, and I dont have the time to organise it, and there arent too many local ppl wanting a head or diff center.

Yes that sounds fair but thats not what you will get for it

I think you would be lucky to get 7k

Plus for past experience when ppl say they are interested in your car that usually means they are interested in it if you sell it to them cheaply

Anyway Good Luck and post up how you go.........
