Do you really want someone cutting a hole in the roof of your pride and joy? I would suggest unless you get a factory sunroof when the car is made then forget about ever getting one.

The finish will never be as good and all the factory jobs include extra strengthening in the roof- aftermarket you don't know what you'll get....

Prestige sunroofs in melbourne do the sunroofs for Falcons, they showed FPV how to install them so you'd be getting a fairly good deal i'd imagine. I was umming and arring about it for a while but haven't bit the bullet yet. They provide the exact same sunroof that is installed if you'd ordered one from new.

I got a quote off Prestige as well. They wanted about $1200 for the work. I love sunroofs too!

From the factory the roof hole actually has the edges folded over around the hole in the roof- aftermarket ones always have a rubber edge around the cut hole. They will never be the same as a proper factory fitted roof.

Then you've got the issue of if they've bothered to strengthen the roof (like the factory does) and rust around the cut area under the rubber trim....

I had a factory sunroof in my old Peugeot 306 and have seen aftermarket ones fitted to other 306's- they are nowhere near as good and easily spotted because of the way they are installed.
