1 tank of fuel for me is on average around $95-100. The ol' crate runs on premium only, and around town I get about 350km and 400-420 if there is a freeway run or two in there. I get around 550km on the highway.

naughtyfalcon u are saying that in ur own personal preference i only run premium beacuse i get an extra 100k out of a tank and it only costs about another $5 max for a full tank i will have tot run it soon because ill be running pretty high comp but even now it is alot better and the car is alot more responsive so i say try premium for about 3-5 tanks and see how u go.
cheers josh.

5.0ltr EF Ghia is getting 12.5l/100km in town which usually equates to ~500k's.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the response guys, great help! So it seems that we are all in the same boat.
I have tried the Premium and have found that the engine doesn't seem to knock as much.

Also I did find I got some extra k's by using the Premium. I will have to do some tests with both fuels again to find out wich is best for my car.

I would say the premium would be better judging from previous times i have used it.

Thanks again!

Waza.
