i am today the proud owner of a mk2 escort, however there is a problem with the alternator, it is not charging the battery,
so that's the only problem with this, othewise it's in mint condition. so i would like to ask are there any online references for a Mk2 escort? 79 model, 2lt, auto (it will be changed soon) a manual of some kind would be awesome! cheers |

Welcome to owning an Escort. Those pommy electrics are a b1tch. Try to find a higher rated one as they will last longer.
Also plenty of info here http://classicford.mine.nu/forum/default.asp. Good luck.
