I have just picked up another ea falcon and am going to strip it.
I have a spare XB coupe turret (roof). Should I modify the EA shell to fit the coupe roof or not. This is not (at this time)to put the vehicle on the road but to see how such a conversion would look in the flesh. Yes or NO?

I don't think it would be easy, but if you're up for it, do it!

If it's a good coupe roof, don't do it! They can fetch a bit of cash I believe!

I know I posted a similar thread previously but at that time I was just toying with the idea of whether or not it could be done.
I did try photoshopping a few versions but it all comes down to keeping the roof in the same proportion as the vehicle as to how the finished product looks. (some looked really god and some looked absolutely rubbish) If anyone else is willing to photoshop 1 up and post it for a view then it would be good to see. Thanks for the responses so far. It look like I may just have to do it. EAV8 nearly ready for the road so will have to do it on completion of that I dare say.... Not long now

DON"T DO IT.
For starters it will look terrible. Alot of work required to try and make it look decent.

Cut the roof off the EA, sit the XB roof on top, if it looks crap take it off. Then you can play with the EA roof! Chop top anyone?

EA + grinder = convertible. Keep or sell the turret, don't attempt to mate it to the EA!

I think it'll look stupid. But we all would have laughed before some kid in tassie jammed a magna roof on a customline and made it look so good.
