Henry Ford created Ford LONG before Hitler was anything more then a hopeless try hard artist with a chip on his shoulder.

I think what he is trying to say is that Henry Ford was a known Nazi sympathiser.. as were lindberg and about 30% of the American population at one stage.

If you are going to post rubbish, at least make it a fact.

(Hitler on the other hand was pretty much directly involved in the creation of VW)

We do not essentially bag holdens on this forum, we just choose not to discuss them unless they have been crashed or catch on fire.

I was watching a doco on Foxtel and that's when I found out that! I just thought it was an interesting bit of info. The is morew than just the Holden Vs. Ford rivalry in the history of both manufacturers.
And did you also know that both Holden & Ford built built war vehicles for both of the world wars. And it was in fact the woman that stayed behind and built all the stuff for the war!

Ah, the "foxtel doco of facts". How about at least remembering them correctly.

Fords 100year anniversary was in 2003, there's a clue that it was founded in 1903 don't you think? Given Hitler was born in 1889 that would mean a 14 year old boy was responsible for persuading Ford, on a totally different side of the earth, into making cars... which would then be used to fight AGAINST him in WW2????

As for women being the workers, yes, its true, they did work during the war. After which they were sent back to the kitchen and that basically started the women's liberation movement that would explode in the 60's (oddly with the daughters of the women leading the charge... amazing what a mums influence can do huh?)

I know what he is up to, but he is right. Henry was a Nazi sympathiser. He did not like the Jews and even wrote to Hitler. What was he thinking? He was a strong man that did not believe in unions but yet was responsible for the 5 dollar day. Twice as much as anybody else paid at the time. But what does this have to do with bagging Holden???

BloodyFalcon is new to Ford after replacing is VL with an EA, I dont think he has quite let go of the holden just yet.
