Default need help with dash removal

can anyone help me out. Im trying to take the console out so i can get to the back of my head unit ive taken out the two screws from behind the ash tray and i got the two lower clips off but it wont budge and i dont want to force it off help will be muchly appreciated.

why don't you just pull the headunit out and then get in behind it?

ive been trying that but i cant get it free from the bracket it moves a couple mm back and forth and i cant see the prongs ???

is it a single or dual din unit? you have to push the removal tool/wire/whatever you're using in a long way til it moves it

single din i got it out i just slid a butter knife down either side

The reason the console wont come out is that the radio hides two screws that you need to get to. Sad to say, the radio has to come out first.
