Next cruise is in the Blue Mountains, but I was going to suggest Macquarie Pass then onto the towns beyond for the cruise after that. There is really nice pie shop around there. I hit that road not too long ago and its an excellent stretch of road.

Last cruise video, didnt really come out as i suspected. out of 30mins of video, about 3-4 mins is actually useful. Um im working on 1-2 camera mounts outside the car also for more diff angles. It should all be ready for springwood.
So who wnats to see the Fiesta (MISTA) Vs Focus (Zetec20) Vid I made?

Macquarie Pass to Robertson Pie Shop...then down to Kangeroo Valley and up to Kiama. Great piece of road and scenery down there! Recommended you try it out!

I've had Kangaroo Valley as a future Cruise destination in my mind for a while but I presume (maybe incorrectly) it'd be a too greater distance to travel in one day. Something to consider for next time.

I've down the south coast 3 times in my Clio already - I'd recommend it to everyone! Not too much of a long drive either... Stop in Kangeroo Valley - great food at the pub there!

i reckon we should do maquarie pass and kangaroo valley in one.!!!
it took mw 4 hours to get from campbelltown to canberra via shellharbour then maquarie pass, then through berry to nowra then kagaroo valley then on to the fed highway. shouldnt be that hard

Hi Simon.
I went through this with Zetec20 last Friday evening Its along the Illawarra highway, Between Bowral and Wollongong Quickest way from Syd is down the F6 to the Gong, not M5. The pass is about 5km long of slow and mid speed technical corners, very short burst straights, well suited to great handling cars with moderate power The road has recently been re-surfaced making a nice smooth "track". http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...ef/macpass.gif |
