Default what to do in Melbourne on a friday night?

hey all..
due to me expanding my Xseries collection, i will be in melbourne tomorrow.
flying in in the morning, picking up the vee-hickle in the afternoon, and driving home to adelaide saturday.
so between say 6pm friday, and early saturday morning, i have to find something to do....
for a change i'm doing this trip by myself. if i was bringing someone with me, i'd probably go out drinking or something. but drinking by yourself is just, well, sad really lol.. i'm not really into the casino thing.. what else is there?

the other option is go to my hotel room (when i find one) and sleep..alot..

anyone got any suggestions?

cheers,
Phil

You're a long time AFF server, are you not? Jesus, you'd reckon a few of the boys would put on a barbie or something.

Monty doesnt eat meat, he survives by rubbing chromed parts on himself and when he runs out, he needs to buy more X series cars.

The not eating meat comes from having to attend barbies with you dave. By the time he's out of his chair and got a paper plate, you've eaten everything.

As for spending the night in melb phil, what are you thinking??? Drive it back straight away, show all of us here in adelaide and avoid catching those victorian diseases

Yes chappel st is dead well on fridays anyway. Used to be the bees knees about 2 years ago on friday night especially in the safeway carpark good fun down there!!!
I think that the combination of cops blocking it off every month or so, petrol prices, and these hoon laws have all contributed to this.
However Lygon street is starting to get busy again!!!!
