Default rear console for eb sedan

i have finished my custom rear console for my eb. it will eventually house an 8" sub and it has 4 cup holders and storage as well. it is able to be remove by undoing 2 clips

my opinion......it looks pretty good but you wrecked it by having that dodgy 5 cent latch near the speaker..........

surely there was something else you could have used...

well they are $6.50 latches, but there wasn't much else that would do the job. if i was to make more consoles i could recess the latches

Looks a little bulky, to avoid the latches wouldn't it look alot better if you went a single cetnre console all the way to the front.

the reason for the way it is, is i didnt want to loose the 5th seat also the part of the console with the cup holders and the 4" speakers is attatched to the car and the front console as the speakers are part of the dvd system

this might be goin a little bit far but rip out the seats in the back and put a pair of seats from another falcon in and make a console for that type of setup.

that would require an engineers cert. this doesn't as it is essentially a sub box with cup holders

Mate,

Your kids must be a noisey pair to need to drown them out with a sub that close to them..

Cheers,
Nik

the console can be made to have an esky instead of a sub box.
