flocking is like what you find in your glasses case, the inside of the good set of silver ware.
Its basically electro static coating of plastic with a thin velvet coating. We need it for work to possibly solve an issue.

Try "GOOD" hobby shops. (BIG car model resellers, like hobbyco in sydney etc)
You can buy flocking in a variety of different colours etc for making faux carpet in model cars. Spray the backing with a dilute whiteglue solution (woodglue/water - aquadhere etc) then sprinkle the flocking on. You can get an electrostatic blower fans etc to lay it with but generally it isn't necessary if you sprinkle is thinly it will lay up well on its own. |
