What is there to do in Melbourne Thursday night?
I'll be flying down there on a business trip Thursday morning and leaving friday night, staying at Le Meridian at the Rialto. Any suggestions of some good clubs/pubs or anything else worth mentioning close-by? |

Melbourne on a Thursday night hrmm...
Plenty of night clubs, the casino, BSR Headquaters. Maybe you'll have to organise an emergency trip with some of the BSR boys. :hihi:

Umm, if you like Drum and Bass style music, Lounge on Swanston St is quite good, but a little dingy. Frostbites on Chapel is pretty packed on a Thurs night, cheap drinks, but full of lotsa teeny boppers and a few try hards. Billboards also has cheap drinks and is a little more sophisticated. Or you could try any Irish pub, as it is St Patty's day on Thursday. Pug Mahone's, Bridy O'Reilly's come to mind.

Theres also Room on Glenferrie Road Hawthorn, But a little difficult to get in without a guest list. THursdays are usually rocking but if you get there early you wont have any drama in getting in.
Frostbites is crap, lounge is full of whacked weirdo's. Billboards is ok, but I'd say room is the best on a thursday |
